Thanks to the automatic Con@ctivity function, the ventilation hood can communicate with the cooktop below: the settings selected on the cooktop are transmitted to the controls on the hood. Your Miele Ventilation Hood then uses this data to automatically select the correct fan setting, ensuring the optimum room climate at all times. Communication between the cooktop and hood is established via ZigBee (Con@ctivity 2.0) or WiFi (Con@ctivity 3.0).

Stainless-steel grease filters (10-layer) - Easy to use and effective against grease

Miele Ventilation Hoods are equipped with a 10-ply stainless-steel grease filter and guarantee a high-level of grease removal. During removal, the integrated fall protection ensures safe handling and protects your cooktop against damage. The top layer and the filter frame are made of high-quality stainless steel, meaning that there is no visible discoloration as a result of dishwasher cleaning and it retains its sleek appearance for a long time.

Miele CleanCover - Convenience and safety in detail

Located behind the grease filters is the Miele CleanCover: Instead of sharp metal edges and electrical components you will find only a sealed, smooth surface. The automatic blower run-on ensures the full vented of steam and odors still in the air after cooking. The ventilation hood can be set to switch off automatically after 5 or 15 minutes.

Filter Saturation Indicator - Countdown time conveniently in view

If the grease or active charcoal filter of your ventilation hood(s) is saturated, the red LED indicator will light up. Your filter should then be cleaned or replaced as soon as possible. You can individually adjust the factory-set service life of the filters: The grease filter saturation indicator can be programmed for 20, 30, 40 or 50 hours, the indicator for active charcoal filter replacement for 120, 180 or 240 hours.

Automatic 'Intensive' switch-off - Programmable maximum power

The Booster setting provides very high air flow and is only intended for brief operation, for example, when heavy smoke or strong odors develop when food is burned. The Booster setting can be programmed so that the blower automatically switches back to Setting 3 after 5 minutes. This avoids unnecessary energy consumption.
